Integrations: what Geniusko connects to

Geniusko reads your Meta account to audit and optimise it — but the ad platform only tells half the story. The more real data Geniusko can see, the sharper its advice and the more honest your numbers. Here is what it connects to, and why each connection matters.

Why connections matter

The Meta pixel is an estimate made in the browser: ad blockers, iOS limits and privacy changes mean it misses a real share of purchases and attributes the rest inside an attribution window. When Geniusko can also see the orders, payments and analytics that actually happened, two things improve — you get the true ROAS of your ads instead of a pixel guess, and the AI Marketer reads live data from every connected source when it reviews your account and answers your questions.

The ad platform

  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

The core connection: Geniusko reads your campaigns, spend and results from your Meta ad account — this is what the audit, the AI Marketer and Studio all run on.

Conversion tracking

  • Geniusko Gateway

Server-side (Conversions API) tracking that recovers conversions browser-only setups lose to ad blockers and privacy restrictions — so Meta optimises on complete data instead of an undercounted picture.

Online stores

  • Shopify

Pulls your real orders and revenue and sets them next to Meta spend — the true ROAS from your checkout, not what the pixel managed to catch.

  • WooCommerce

Reads real orders and revenue from your WordPress store, including status changes and refunds a pixel never records.

  • Etsy

Etsy is a closed platform where you can't place your own pixel — connecting it is the only way to see what your ads actually sold there.

Payments

  • Stripe

Sees the money, not just a browser event — the right source for subscriptions, services and digital products, including renewals a pixel can't see.

  • PayPal

A second independent source of real revenue next to Meta spend — useful when part of your customers pay by PayPal and the pixel undercounts them.

Funnels & CRM

  • GoHighLevel

Brings CRM data in so you can see which campaigns bring leads that actually move through the pipeline — not just cheap contacts. Works with white-label GHL too.

  • Systeme.io

Pulls real sales from your funnels, so you get the true ROAS of your ads even without a classic online store.

Analytics

  • Google Analytics 4

A second, independent view of traffic and conversions by source — and it explains why GA4 and Ads Manager report different numbers.

  • Microsoft Clarity

Heatmaps, session recordings and dead clicks show whether the problem is the ad or the page — when clicks arrive but conversions don't.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to connect anything to try Geniusko?

No. The free audit runs on your Meta account alone. Store, payment and analytics connections are optional — you add them inside the app when you want the true ROAS from real orders rather than a pixel estimate.

Why do my store numbers differ from Ads Manager?

The Meta pixel misses part of your purchases to ad blockers and iOS, and attributes the rest inside an attribution window. Your store, Stripe or PayPal show the money that actually arrived — which is why a connected source is a more honest measure of what your ads earned.

Does the Geniusko Gateway replace my pixel?

No — it complements it. The pixel keeps sending browser events; the Gateway adds a server-side (Conversions API) connection that recovers conversions browser-only tracking loses, so Meta optimises on more complete data.

Do I need to write code to connect a tool?

No. Connections are made inside the app on the Integrations page — you authorise access or paste API keys, and Geniusko handles the rest. It takes a few minutes.
